Cowbell Ghana joins the 7 December 2020 general election rave with a fun social media initiative
Cowbell Ghana has joined the election rave just as the country was preparing for the 2020 general elections. The initiative sought to leverage the buzz around the elections by creating its own version, where fans on the Cowbell social media got to vote for their favourite Cowbell party, identified by the flavour and the party candidates being represented by the various Cowbell characters. Voters also uploaded videos telling the public why they were voting for their favourite Cowbell party. Two ultimate winners were picked from each party’s supporters to prove that irrespective of the flavour or party affiliation, you’re always a winner with Cowbell. After the election, however, results showed that Strawberry Peoples action won the election.
